An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Band 5 Registered Nurses to join Sandford AMU.
The successful candidate will initially be based on Sandford to cover a 4-month secondment, after which they will be redeployed to another vacant area within Weston General Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The acute clinical and compassionate leadership skills you will gain from working within any of these specialities will be highly advantageous for individuals aspiring to become a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist or Advanced Clinical Practitioner in the future. In order to achieve the latter you will be supported by a preceptorship programme (if applicable), as well as Senior Sister, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Practice Development Nurse and the Matron. The breadth and depth of specialities would also be an ideal platform for individuals with aspirations of starting a career within a critical care environment.
We will be providing integrated services liaising directly with community teams. Offering excellent networking opportunities. We have a very exciting range of acute specialities within the medicine and surgery directorate.
