Job summary

University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust wishes to appoint a Specialty Doctor in Dermatology, Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI). Applicants are invited to join a dynamic and supportive team, working alongside, and being supported by a highly motivated team of Consultant Dermatologists and wider clinical workforce.

The department is looking to recruit a specialty doctor who's scheduled will include set days working from dermatology centre to provide stability for the clinical workforce. The post holder will work in all aspects of dermatology, suited to their experience and competencies and the priorities of service provisions. As well as the Dermatology Centre, based in the BRI the post holder may work across other pheriphal services based in Weston General hospital or/and South Bristol Community Hospital.

Main duties of the job

Outpatient clinic: The post holder will contribute to consultant led Dermatology clinics.

Clinical Management: The post holder is expected to take a full role in the delivery of the Trust wide agenda for Governance. The Trust believes in an open learning environment with clear risk management strategy that allows innovation and improvement in care whilst placing patient safety at the center of our values. The post holder will take an active part in the department/specialty strategy.

Patient Care: The successful candidate will be expected to comply with all relevant Trust policies relating to administration of patient care. Management and leadership responsibilities: The post holder is expected to help with the smooth running of the team and to contribute to the clinical governance work.
