Specialist Paediatric Dietitian - Nephrology

Job summary

Are you looking to further your experience as a specialised paediatric dietitian whilst working as part of a dynamic forward thinking team in a tertiary children's hospital? We are a large friendly department of dietitians, supported by dietetic support workers, Special Feed Unit staff and an administrative team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and pro-active renal paediatric dietitian to join our nephrology team as a permanent post holder. The post provides a renal nutrition service within our tertiary centre and as shared care across the South West region. The post holder will be involved in service development, as well as provide support and supervision to other members of the dietetic team.

Main duties of the job

To apply for this post, you will need clinical paediatric experience in this area alongside demonstrable leadership skills to ensure high standards of clinical care and knowledge for the development of this service. If you have clinical experience in renal paediatrics, but have less developed experience in other pillars of AHP practice (leadership, research, education), you could be considered on our Band 6 to 7 fast-track programme.
