We have an opportunity you you to join our Maternity Recovery Team as a Recovery Nurse. The post consists of three 12.5 hour shifts per week (Monday - Friday). No bank holidays included!
Main duties of the job

Able to develop your clinical skills and participate in continuing your professional development?
Motivated, hardworking and great at communicating enabling the ability to work well in our multidisciplinary team?
Confident at reading drug charts and providing the appropriate medication at the right time and route for a number of patients in your care?
Able to confidently perform observations - identifying normal parameters, and escalating appropriately when outside of this?
Sufficient in wound care, identifying any deviation from normal and escalating appropriately?
Confident and timely in documentation?
There will also be the fantastic opportunity of training in breastfeeding support, glycaemic control in the neonate, contraception advice, discharge advice and supporting the team in emergency situations.
