The Bristol Eye Hospital (BEH) at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston Foundation Trust (UHBW) is looking to grow its talented team to drive an ambitious future vision of care across Bristol and Weston. https://youtu.be/he7-XrxIopo

Applications are warmly invited for a fellowship attached to the Oculoplastics service.

Main duties of the job

This post is full-time post for a period of 12 months, ideally commencing from 6th August, 2025. Candidates will be provided with subspeciality training in oculo-plastics, lacrimal and orbital surgery.

The post will be based at the BEH with two days a month will be spent at South Bristol Community Hospital.

Applicants should be at the end of their Specialist Registrar grade or equivalent training and UK candidates should ideally already have CTT.

The successful candidate will be required to be registered with the General Medical Council with a License to Practice

Essential

  • Good knowledge of general ophthalmology, with basic specialist registrar training for ophthalmology and oculoplastics

Desirable

  • Previous TSC or fellowship experience in oculo-plastics
