Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, part-time Receptionist to join our busy hospital for 24.5 hours per week, on a shift pattern. You will be required to cover main Reception and Outpatient Reception, as required.

Main duties of the job

  • Work as part of a team providing a reception service across both Main Reception and Outpatient Reception including being the initial point of contact.
  • Answering telephone calls and redirecting as appropriate
  • Book in patients for their appointments
  • Meet and greet in an open and welcoming manner
  • Work to a shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays
  • Prioritise workload on a daily basis
  • Use various computer systems including Microsoft Office and Medway
