Job summary

Are you looking for an interesting and challenging Admin job working in healthcare?

We are a small friendly department providing a service to patients throughout Bristol, Bath and Weston, who need specialised nutritional care at home. We work with many different people and services and there is a very varied workload.

If you are an experienced admin professional, well organised, an excellent communicator, a great problem solver, able to work alone as well as in a team and are well versed in Microsoft Office applications, then come and join us.

You will be based in pleasant office surroundings in central Bristol where there is full support from our Office Manager and Admin team.

This role does not offer any relocation support.

Main duties of the job

You will be part of our team, which includes Dietitians, Nurses, Dietetic Assistants, and Administrative staff. You will be office-based and your role will entail facilitating referrals into our service, maintaining regular communication with various Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and organizations, and managing the continuous liaison, support, and needs of patients enrolled in our service.

The administrative team are fundamental to the success, efficiency, and effectiveness of our service. This role is crucial for ensuring daily continuity, serving as the initial point of contact for all callers. The ideal candidate will be confident, exhibit excellent administrative and customer service skills, and work flexibly, supportively, and approachably amidst constantly shifting priorities and demands.
