As a Radiographic Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our radiology department, contributing to essential imaging services that help diagnose and treat our patients.
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine interest in radiography and a commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented spirit, ready to collaborate with our diverse healthcare professionals.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn and grow!

Main duties of the job
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Radiologists, Radiographers and administrative staff to maintain a good level of service
- Support Radiologists, Radiographers and technicians by providing a high standard of patient care before during and after examination
- Maintain effective communication with patients, relatives and UHBW colleagues
- Liaise with colleagues regarding transportation of patients to and from the x-ray dept
- To assist with moving equipment and help with transferring patients on and off examination couches
