If yes, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! We are welcoming applications from registered health care professionals - this could include Nurses with NMC registration or AHPs with HCPC registration - for this role as our Active Hospitals Clinical Lead.
University Hospitals Bristol and Weston are in the process of implementing the Active Hospitals program, which aims to change the physical activity culture within hospitals to encourage our patients to move more, every day and be active participants in their own recovery.
This unique role offers the chance to work with multidisciplinary teams, in a Trust wide role, to develop and implement innovative strategies to embed physical activity in the heart of services at UHBW.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and experienced professional with outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills to join this program.
Main duties of the job
You will work across all wards and divisions on both Bristol and Weston sites.
You will work with, and be supported by, a wider multi-professional project team
You will collaborate with colleagues and engage with patients and visitors to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
You will manage your time and resources with flexibility to utilise your expertise and skill depending on the needs of the program
You will demonstrate clinical leadership and project management skills to deliver measurable outcomes
