Job summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to become member's of our Outpatient Reception team.

We are currently recruiting to the below position:

  • 1 full time post, 37.5 hours per week; Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm (An 8am start will be required on a rota basis)

  • This post will involve working across the four Outpatient Receptionareas of the Bristol Dental Hospital.Duties include greeting and arriving patients and their families, clinic preparation and generalclerical duties under the supervision of the outpatient reception team leader.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work under the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston Trust, with the post being located at Bristol Dental Hospital. The post holder be responsible for providing a welcoming and efficient service as the patient's first point of contact within the hospital. This will include greeting and signposting patients and relatives, processing patients appointments using the Patient Administration System (Careflow) and liaising with clinicians and colleagues to facilitate a smooth and timely flow of patients through the departments.

Manage patient communications via telephone and Trust systems.

Work within the wider reception team to complete all administrative duties.
