Job summary
Medicine Division Matron
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 looking for progression or an existing Matron within UHBW to experience working in Acute Medicine within Medicine Division, which is nationally one of the top performing acute medicine departments.
We are looking for a motivated individual to oversee the AMU and General Inpatient Medicine.
This role requires drive and passion for patient care and safety from a professional with a desire to influence at the highest level, and willingness to work in close partnership with senior clinical and managerial staff within the Trust. The post holder will robustly support patient flow from ED to downstream wards.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to lead by example and role model our Trust values to ensure that Trust policies and procedures are followed, and robust governance systems and processes are adhered to.
You are welcome to visit the nursing leadership team and spend some time observing a typical day in the matron role if this role is of interest to you.
