Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Team to help develop a new role. The Cardiac Rehabilitation Technician (Band 4) will help to deliver and expand the Cardiac Rehabilitation programme for UHBW.
You will have experience as a Therapy Technician, Rehabilitation Technician or other healthcare equivalent. Ideally, experience in Cardiac Rehab is desirable but, if not, training will be given
Main duties of the job
The role will include patient assessment, assisting in the delivery of the rehab exercise programme, patient advice and maintenance of accurate patient records. You will work independently but always have the support and guidance of a registered cardiac rehab Physiotherapist or Clinical Nurse Specialist.
The role will include some organisational and clinical duties and there will be the need to work flexibly across our Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare facilities.
