Job summary

Would you enjoy the exciting challenge of joining the innovative vaccine and testing research team? We are offering an opportunity for a talented individual looking to develop a career in clinical research.

The Vaccine and Testing research team will lead on supporting Principal Investigators in the setup and delivery of vaccine and testing research, including and prioritising early phase and experimental medicine trials. The research will be based at the Clinical Research Facility, a purpose built research unit which offers the ability to conduct early and late phase studies.

The research team is looking for someone who is highly motivated and passionate about clinical research to join us. You will be working with a variety of research professionals across the trust and will be involved in all aspects of the study co-ordination of vaccine and testing research.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends to enable the team to deliver a 6 day a week service where required. Working closely with all members of the research teams the research administrator will provide:

  • Reception duties
  • Support the clinical teams throughout the trial process.
  • Manage data as an integrated member of the clinical research team
  • Support the safe conduct of research to provide assurance that the rights, safety and wellbeing of research participants are protected
  • Need excellent IT and literacy skills, operational flexibility and have a have a keen eye for detail.
