Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced band 5/6 Nurse/AHP to join the Temporary staffing team as a Clinical Lead. The Temporary staffing workforce is an essential part of the infrastructure here at UHBW and we are looking for a Nurse/AHP who is dynamic, organised, and a resilient individual, who will support the allocation of temporary staff throughout our Trust. The role predominately involves operational duties to maximises use of the temporary workforce, grows this temporary workforce and ensure quality care is delivered by the staff working through Temporary Staffing.

Main duties of the job

  • Coordinate bank and agency staff to support safe staffing across wards and departments
  • Ensure bank workers achieve and maintain the required standards of training to deliver high quality care
  • Negotiate with external agencies to backfill unfilled shifts
  • Recruit new staff to the temporary staffing workforce
  • Investigate and respond to complaints
  • Collate data for and respond to FOI requests
  • Deputise for the Temporary Staffing Operations Manager as required
