Unity Sexual Health has a substantive vacancy for a part time 6 PA Consultant in Sexual Health. We are looking for an exceptional candidate to play a major part in delivering a high quality, innovative, integrated sexual health model of care for the population of Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire served by Unity Sexual Health.
The Consultant will join an enthusiastic and friendly team of 9 consultants based across Central Health Clinic, Bristol, Concord clinic in South Gloucestershire, and WISH clinic in Weston-super-mare. You will be working with an experienced multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality integrated sexual healthcare.
The successful applicant will be required to provide Level 3 Genitourinary Medicine services in our busy open access clinics. There will be opportunity to take on additional roles within the department, as well as specialist clinics depending on areas of clinical expertise. An interest in teaching and research is desirable.
You must be on the GMC's Specialist Register for Genito-urinary Medicine, or other relevant specialty eg O&G, CSRH (or if a Specialist Registrar not yet enrolled, you must provide documentary evidence that you will have completed the relevant CCT within six months). Dual training in contraception to DFSRH level is expected.

Main duties of the job
A part-time 6.0 PA post in this innovative department. The post holder will join the Consultant team delivering Level 3 integrated sexual health care within Unity Sexual Health services. The Unity Sexual Health hub is situated at Central Health Clinic, Tower Hill Bristol BS2 OJD. Unity Sexual Health was formed in June 2017 following University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust's winning the tender for sexual health services across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset. Following the merger of Weston and University Hospitals Bristol to form University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW), WISH was integrated into the UHBW Division of Medicine with Unity.
