Post - Band 7 Pelvic Health Specialist Joint Team Lead Physiotherapist - Bristol site
Hours - 27.5 hrs/week or 0.73 WTE Requirement to fulfill hours over four days Monday - Thursday to meet service demand
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the pelvic health physiotherapy service in UHBW NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful applicant will work alongside the other Pelvic Health Band 7 specialist physiotherapist to provide support to a growing pelvic health specialist therapy team as well as a high level of clinical expertise to this area of practice. The post will be based at the Bristol sites of UHBW, but there may be occasional requirements to work across other sites.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting time within pelvic health in BNSSG. BNSSG have been awarded early implementer status by NHS England to develop perinatal pelvic services in the area. The physiotherapy teams across UHBW and NBT are at the forefront of these developments and the successful applicants will have the opportunity to input to this growing project.
We are looking for an innovative, inclusive leader who is passionate about delivering a service which is patient centred and ensures patients receive the right care at the right time in the right place.
The post holder will work closely with the Outpatient Leads in the Trust, an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner and the rest of the therapy team to provide a high quality, evidence-based, patient centred service to patients. The successful applicants may be required to input to extended hours or weekend services
The post holder will already be a skilled clinician with previous pelvic health physiotherapy skills at Band 6 or above. They will be naturally empathetic, demonstrating good communication skills to facilitate close working relationships with both patients and colleagues within their own Trust and across BNSSG. They will need to be creative and flexible to meet the changing needs of the caseload and service.
In service training programmes and staff appraisal systems are in operation to help you develop to meet the demands of the post.
