Job summary

We are looking to recruit an exceptional, highly skilled practitioner into a Consultant Practitioner role in Urgent & Emergency Care at UHBW.

The Candidate will lead the strategic development of Enhanced and Advanced Practitioners across UHBW.

Leading new ways of working across the trust.

As a lead clinician they will be pivotal in improving care and outcomes for patients in urgent and emergency care.

The post is full time and banded at an 8C

Main duties of the job

Demonstrates expert interpersonal skills in caring for patients and their families.

Demonstrates expert clinical knowledge and skills in assessing and caring for patients and their families.

Able to analyse, synthesis and action highly complex clinical information and situations to benefit the patients and families.

Act as expert/ lead clinician representing the Trust for regional developments in speciality and within the relevant profession

Use every opportunity both formal and informal for teaching and educating patients, carers, healthcare and other members of staff regarding the needs of patients and how these may be met.
