Job summary
The Patient Access Team are looking for an enthusiastic self motivated individual to join our Patient Access Team at Weston General Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The Access Team manage the Trusts waiting lists for outpatient appointments, day case and inpatient surgery. This involves all aspects of waiting list management, and includes scheduling of theatre lists and outpatient clinics to ensure that patients are treated timely and within local and national waiting time guidelines.
Excellent organisational skills are essential. This is a very busy role within a call centre environment, and you must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks.
You will have daily contact with patients on the telephone, as well as internal communication with other groups of staff, therefore excellent communication skills are essential.
You will be using the Trust's IT systems as well as Microsoft Office software packages, so it is vital you are experienced in using different computer systems and Microsoft Office 365.
