Weston General Hospital is situated in the seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare and is a sought-after place to both live and work. As a newly registered nurse you will participate in our 12-month Preceptorship Programme which has recently been updated to utilise a blended learning model. It has been designed to support your transition from a student nurse to a confident and professional registered nurse. During this time, you will be assigned a Preceptor - an experienced member of the nursing team who will,along with other members of the clinical team,support you to develop and refine your knowledge and skills.

Main duties of the job

All candidates attend a Trust induction and all locations offer a supernumerary period of at least 2 weeks with some areas routinely offering longer.

You will need to provide contact details for your personal tutor and your final/most recent placement clinical mentor as referees.
