aligned to HPL requirements

contact for all EME related community work.

Main duties of the job

SUMMARY
To perform service and maintenance activities on a wide range of Medical
devices for our third party stakeholders. This includes local community
Hospitals, Health Centres, Doctors practices, Acute NHS Trusts and Private
Hospitals.
Reporting to the Deputy EME Manager, the EME field service Engineer will
be responsible for all aspects of maintenance including annual servicing,
emergency call-out, and minor repairs. This position will be required to establish
and maintain a professional working relationship with customers and internal
colleagues.
The role calls for someone from an Electronics
/ Instrumentation Engineering background, and as such the post holder will
require knowledge across the range of technologies and services that fall under
the responsibility of this post.
The role will frequently require the post
holder to engage with infrastructure and business projects and the adoption of
new technologies in line with business requirements.

REMUNERATION
PACKAGE £29,827 to £36,310.00
per annum plus Higher Cost Area Supplement
up to 5% of basic salary (subject to a minimum of £1252.00, and a maximum
payment of £2379.00), Performance Bonus, Contributory Pension Scheme and 25
rising to 30 days holiday per year (plus 8 days public holidays)
HOURS 37.5 (flexible working arrangement available)

research and development both within the Trust and also alongside external

dynamic team of engineers providing a comprehensive repair, maintenance and
service to a range of healthcare providers across the Surrey and Hampshire
area.
The engineers will be specifically responsible
for delivery of the EME service provision to third party stakeholders and act
as point of contact for all EME related community work.
At
Grade 5 we are looking for an experienced Service Engineer, ideally working in
healthcare. Full manufacturer training will be provided to enable the
individuals to work independently.
Ideally,
a degree or HNC/D in electronics / electrical engineering or equivalent
technical qualification and experience is required.
You
will have/develop skills in the following areas: quality control measurements,
fault finding, repairs and planned maintenance of a wide range of medical devices.
The
NHS is moving to 7-day working so flexibility of working patterns is expected
within HPL.
