Job summary

Do you have passion for making a difference to the lives of others? Are you able to engage and support teams to deliver sustainable results? Do you want to be part of an exciting programme that will transform the way in which health and care is delivered, not just within the walls of a hospital, but reaching across health and care providers?

At the Royal Surrey Hospital, we pride ourselves on working together to deliver compassionate, safe care every day. Our vision is to provide nationally celebrated, community focused health and care, and continuously improve the care we provide to the communities we serve. Our recent achievements include attracting international interest in our innovations in frailty care pathways, and having two finalists listed in the 2019 British Medical Journal awards, and, as one of the largest robotics centres in the UK, leading the way in robotic surgery.

We are also part of the Guildford & Waverley Health & Care Alliance, one of the first devolved health and care economies in the country. This means that we are transforming health and care alongside other providers, with a common aim to transform services so that citizens have access to the very best care and treatments.

Surrey Heartlands is embarking on a ground-breaking plan to integrate healthcare which will mean better joined up services in place of what has often been a fragmented system that passes people from pillar to post. Simon Stevens, Chief Executive of NHS England

Main duties of the job

As a Transformation Project Support Officer, you will play a vital part in the delivery of our transformation journey by providing administrative support to the Programme Managers and the project support team. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who bring both organisational skills and rigour alongside the humility and tenacity to succeed. Previous experience of working in the NHS is not essential as we value the fresh perspectives you may bring.

Interviews to be held on 25th and 26th August .Although we are ideally looking for 1 WTE, we will consider part time/job share also.
