Acting as an expert resource in Tissue Viability providing advice, support, education and leadership in Tissue Viability issues. Main duties of the job
To lead an evidence based Tissue Viability Service as part of a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. The post holder will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to all clinical areas in all aspects of Tissue Viabililty.To lead the Tissue Viability service within the Royal Surrey, working closely with the community Tissue viability team.To be the lead clinical specialist in wound care, providing expert advice, education for staff caring for the patients and quality improvement in tissue viability team services.To be responsible for the co-ordination and provision of tissue viability training to all levels of staff and disciplines.To support Harm Free Care Matron to lead in collaboration on the delivery of the Trust Pressure Ulcer reduction strategy, monitoring progress through the Harm Free Care Committee.
