The Practice Development Team work Trust wide supporting all levels of the nursing team to deliver high quality, evidence based, compassionate care to our patients. The team comprises of highly experienced educators who provide training and assessment for the National Care Certificate, Pre-Registration programmes, Preceptorship and ongoing skills and career development.

Main duties of the job
The Corporate Practice Development Team work across the Trust to promote the development of nursing staff and facilitate continuous improvement in the culture of care.
The post holder will:o act as a role model / professional resource, acting within the Professional Code of Conduct at all timeso support the professional development of all nursing staff.o support the development of clinical competence and evidence-based practice to ensure best possible patient outcomes and experience.o assist in the delivery of education programmes and act as a clinical role modelo work under the management of a Senior Practice Development Sister/Charge Nurse.
