Job summary
Surrey and Borders is seeking an experienced Locum Band 7 Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner with ADOS expertise to join our Child and Young People's Neurodevelopmental Service.
The postholder will play a key role in delivering high-quality ASD and ADHD diagnostic assessments, including dual ASD/ADHD assessments, working as part of a multidisciplinary team within a community CAMHS setting. This is a clinically focused role requiring strong assessment, formulation, and report-writing skills.
Working pattern: Community-based service.
Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Main Address: Theta Building Lyon Way, Frimley, Surrey, GU16 7ERand in Azalea House, Farnham Road Hospital, Guildford, Surrey GU2 7LX.
Please note: The Role may require for you to travel to other SABP hubs to complete Dual and ADOS 2 assessments
Main duties of the job

o complete ADOS assessments as part of multi-disciplinary ASD diagnostic pathways.

To undertake dual ASD and ADHD diagnostic assessments in line with national and local guidance.

To gather, analyse and integrate complex assessment information in order to produce high-quality diagnostic and post-diagnostic reports.

To contribute to the triage and management of referrals into the Neurodevelopmental Service.

To work collaboratively with medical, psychology and wider MDT colleagues during assessment and formulation.

To provide clinical supervision to an Assistant Psychologist undertaking developmental history assessments and drafting reports.
