Job summary
Surrey and Borders is looking for someone toprovide focused temporary support to improve data quality within the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system. The post-holder will carry out data cleansing, validation and correction tasks, run data quality reports, and ensure workforce information is complete, accurate and up to date. They will also undertake additional duties within HR Systems and Employment Services as assigned, to support wider team priorities.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Work Time: 9 AM to 5 PM
Main duties of the job

Carry out accurate and timely data validation, cleansing and correction within ESR.

Run ESR data-quality reports to identify missing, inconsistent or incorrect information.

Update and maintain workforce data across ESR and other HR systems.

Prepare and provide clear data summaries or updates to support the wider HR team.

Ensure information is recorded, formatted and presented in a clear and meaningful way.

Support monthly and weekly workflows by ensuring data is complete for key deadlines (e.g. payroll and reporting).

Assist with system updates, testing and user engagement activities linked to ESR benefits realisation.

Develop working knowledge of ESR, Rostering and NHS Jobs and support their effective day-to-day use.

Provide general administrative and systems support to the HR Systems and Employment Services teams.

Assist with documenting data-quality processes and maintaining consistency in system use.
