The postholder is responsible for carrying out and reporting ultrasound procedures to a high standard and in a professional manner, working within the departmental guidelines whilst being accountable for their own actions.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a highly motivated Sonographer to join our dynamic obstetric ultrasound team at The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to a high-quality obstetric ultrasound service, working within a supportive and forward-thinking multidisciplinary team.
The Royal Surrey Foundation Trust Maternity service is rated 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission. We provide antenatal care to approximately 3200 women a year. The ultrasound service is based within our antenatal clinic and dedicated early pregnancy unit on the ground floor of the trust.
This vacancy is eligible for a qualified Obstetric sonographer with a PGCert minimum in Obstetric Ultrasound. This role requires excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude, with the ability to work autonomously, within our supportive team.
