Job summary

Full time: 37.5 hours per week fixed term maternity coverThe Royal Surrey County Hospital Aseptic Services department supplies aseptic products for St Luke's Cancer Centre and other specialties across the Trust. This role offers the opportunity to play a critical leadership role in service delivery and development. You would have the lead role for the development of training programmes for all roles in the department. Responsibilities would also include the final check and release of aseptic products and deputising for the Head of Production.You will have previous experience working in a senior role within aseptic services,

Main duties of the job

Deputise for the Aseptic Services Manager.Responsible for the line management of technical staff within the Pharmacy Aseptic Services Unit.Responsible for final checking and releasing of aseptically prepared products.Be responsible for final check and release of licensed products. The department has an annual workload of up to 55-60,000 items.Support the Head of Production in the leadership of departmental training .
