Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our multi-disciplinary Integrated Respiratory Team.We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced respiratory nurse who is passionate about providing high quality respiratory care.
This is an ideal opportunity for those who want to further develop their specialist respiratory knowledge and skills within a well-established and supportive multi-professional team.The Integrated Respiratory team work across both hospital and community settings, providing specialist acute inpatient care and ongoing community support.
The IRS supports admission avoidance, acute inpatient care, early supported discharge, outpatient clinics, community MDT clinics, Virtual MDT clinics, community home assessments and home oxygen assessment & review.

Main duties of the job
To provide highly specialist respiratory practice within the multi-disciplinary management and care of adult patients with a respiratory condition, including COPD, Asthma, Bronchiectasis and Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD).
The post holder will demonstrate an expert understanding and knowledge of long-term respiratory diseases and management, and be able to work as an independent autonomous practitioner.
Working as part of the Integrated Respiratory Team to provide holistic patient centered care which is focused on ensuring care is seamless, proactive and coordinated across the hospital and community setting.
