Job summary
The Digital Trainer will support delivery of the Clinical Informatics Training service across the Trust, including satellite sites across the local health community.You will be experienced in the delivery of digital systems training, creation of elearning content, course development and training administration tasks and activities.Daily tasks include delivering Oracle Millennium training courses, other system training as identified, supporting end user queries, maintaining and developing course lesson plans and materials and capturing attendance records.
Main duties of the job
You will be a highly experienced and competent trainer with a graduate qualification or equivalent experience. You will hold qualifications in teaching and ideally IT training qualifications.
You will have had experience of delivering training for Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems, ideally experience training Oracle Millennium.
You will be experienced in delivering training and support in a healthcare setting, ideally in acute secondary care.
You are able to engage effectively with staff across all levels and can demonstrate EPR knowledge and skills.
You will have excellent training, communication and IT skills with knowledge of a wide range of software packages.
A standard DBS check will be required for the role. Some evening and weekend may be required to meet deadlines, so flexibility with regard to working hours is essential.
