Main duties of the job
The Finance Analyst position will have a pivotal role within the Finance Department.
We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our Finance team in Guildford. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in delivering accurate and timely management accounts, analysis, and reporting that inform critical decision-making across the organisation.

Job Duties: Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will: Prepare monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and variance analysis Support statutory reporting and external audits Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles Deliver insightful financial analysis for budget holders and management teams Act as a business partner to operational managers, providing financial challenge and guidance Ensure financial records, systems, and controls meet internal and external compliance standards Drive improvements in processes, reporting, and system utilisation (Oracle)
Competencies: Experience working in a finance role within a complex organisation Strong Oracle Financials (or similar ERP) experience Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, data analysis) Excellent analytical ability, with a strong eye for detail Confident communicator, able to build relationships with clinicians, budget holders, and suppliers Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach Part-qualified or actively studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA) Experience in accounts payable / receivable and financial reporting in the healthcare sector Experience in accounts preparation / dealing with external auditors / accountants Experience of Power BI
Qualifications: Part-qualified or actively studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA) Proven experience in a finance role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
