Job summary
We are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic and motivated person to help lead our ultrasound booking team as well as perform the deputy role for our Support Services Lead
The role will involve a variety of administrative and receptionist duties which support the daily patient flow and operations of this busy department. They would also act at the point of contact for any tasks required of them should the Support Services Manager be away.
To be considered for this role previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable.
This position will require excellent communication skills to greet direct and assist customers in the department. You will require sufficient IT skills to access and enter data onto the Radiology information system and to book appointments. Training will be provided.
Experience in administrative procedures would be advantageous.
This position is fixed term until the end of March 2026.

Main duties of the job
To post holder will be a senior member of the administration and clerical team supporting Radiology in delivering a quality appointment service for patients, ensuring that the Trust is able to meet its service deliverables and national operational targets. The post holder will be responsible for the administrative assistants within the team and will take a lead role of the office when the Support Services Lead is not on site.
