The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicatedSpecialty Doctor in Ophthalmology to join our dynamic Surgery Division for a fixed term period of 12 month (from November 2025).
You'll play a key role in managing patients across general and specialist clinics, supervising junior staff, and contributing to teaching and audit programmes. Main duties of the job
It is expected that the post-holder will join the current non-residential on-call rota.
The appointee will be required to work collaboratively with colleagues to provide an ophthalmology service of thehighest quality, meeting government-mandated waiting list targets and the Trust's quality standards.
The appointee will also be expected to take a full and active role in the training of junior doctors, nursing staff, and ancillary staff, both within the department and externally. Active participation in delivering first-class clinical governance is also required.
