We are pleased to invite applications for a Consultant Radiologist with a specialist interest in Oncological and Urogynaecological Imaging to join our dynamic and supportive team at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. This is an opportunity to work in a thriving Cancer Centre with a strong culture of clinical excellence, quality improvement and multidisciplinary collaboration.
You will join a forward-thinking and friendly Radiology department, supporting sub-specialty cancer services including prostate, bladder, gynaecological, and colorectal MDTs. We are expanding to meet rising demand for cross-sectional imaging and are keen to shape the role around your skills and interests.

Our department has benefitted from recent investment in state-of-the-art MRI and interventional imaging equipment, and we have expanded into the community through a new Community Diagnostic Centre at Milford.
Main duties of the job
- Provide a service in general and specialist areas of radiology.
- Provision of radiological reports and investigations as required by the clinical director. This will include plain film reporting and general radiology.
- To fully participate in the Clinical and where appropriate Educational Supervision of trainees.
- To play a full part in the professional supervision and management of junior medical staff.

- Full registration and a license to practice with the GMC
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Clinical Radiology
- MBBS or equivalent
- Completion of FRCR or equivalent
- Provider status in ATLS/APLS/ALS or equivalent, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of interview date
Desirable
- Instructor status in ATLS/APLS/EPLS/ALS or equivalent
- Educational Supervisor qualification
- Qualification in leadership and/ or clinical management.
