Job summary

The NIHR Royal Surrey Clinical Research Facility has created an exciting, opportunity for a band 5 research nurse.

With a specific focus on early phase research, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in research, trial protocols and research methodologies alongside your expert clinical skills.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will be working within our purpose built NIHR Royal Surrey Clinical Research Facility and across the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust.

You will be involved in the planning, set-up and delivery of a broad portfolio of research, providing excellent care for patients as well as collecting and reporting on data to the highest standards as expected for clinical research.

Our facility houses an experienced and highly motivated multi-disciplinary team, focused on delivering inpatient and outpatient trials. Every day you will collaborate closely to support, develop and deliver research projects.

The role involves using an in depth knowledge of research methodology and knowledge of the requirements of local, national and international research regulations (e.g. ICH GCP, UK Clinical Trials Regulations).
