Job summary

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our small team of Porters and Housekeepers in Haslemere Hospital.

Our Portering Housekeeping service provides a high standard of cleanliness across the hospital in line with the National Specification for Cleanliness in Hospitals. Your role will also be responsible for patient movement, removal of waste, stores and assisting with movement of furniture in clinical and office areas assist with the cleaning of departments and ward areas, to meet the needs of patients.

The successful candidates will have experience of working with people in a healthcare environment, portering, cleaning, beverage and meals serving, storing cleaning products, be patient focused, possess high cleaning standards, have excellent communication skills, and have a flexible and adaptable approach and work well within a team. Ideally you will have worked in a patient environment and possess good inter-personal skills with patients and relatives.
