Main duties of the job
In this role, you will provide critical analytical support to the Senior Pharmacy Team, helping to shape key Medicines Management projects. You will play an integral part in ensuring accurate data analysis and reporting for service capacity planning, performance dashboards, and complex data modelling, all of which contribute to the optimisation of medicines management services.

Job responsibilities
The post-holder will provide analytical support to the senior pharmacy team. The post-holder will work as an integral part of the senior pharmacy team supporting Medicines Management projects that require measurement, such as, service capacity planning, performance dash-boards and complex data modelling. The post holder will also be involved in the production of performance data from systems including CMM (JAC) stock control, and Blueteq systems and databases such as EPACT and IVIG. The post holder will be responsible for end of month/year reporting systems to internal finance teams.
Working for the Pharmacy Department, the post-holder will be responsible for interpreting directorate information needs into data requests and translating raw data into written/graphical reports accessible to a wide audience.
Produce and present management information for use within the Trust Provide ad-hoc support to respond to information requests by end users Provide timely and accurate reporting to external bodies on the Trusts performance, in line with national definitions
This role requires close working with the contracts, information and pharmacy teams. The post holder is expected to have (or develop) expertise in the field of pharmacy data, as well as a general understanding of how the other relevant departments work.The post holder is expected to liaise closely with colleagues within pharmacy and the wider Trust in order to meeting the organisations reporting needs

- Masters level education in IM&T or demonstrable equivalent level of knowledge/experience gained in relevant field
- Degree level education in IM&T

- Experience of working with Microsoft Office applications
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills
- Experience of working with Power BI
- Experience of developing and promoting data standards and audit

- Knowledge of NHS medicines datasets eg. SACT, SLAM, IVIG
- Experience of working with tight and changing deadlines
