Job summary
Improving Elective Care Coordination for Patients (IECCP) Programme: Elective waiting lists are continuing to grow across the NHS and are currently at challenging levels. Additional interventions by the NHS are needed rapidly to maximise capacity, stop the increase and drive towards recovery. All Trusts currently manage their own elective surgery waiting lists, leading to differences in the way individual waiting lists and data is managed. Trusts have limited ways to provide an effective or a consistent way to manage waiting lists, often relying on cumbersome manual data input methods, with lots of hand-offs between departments. Due to the manual data updates at individual Trusts, the quality and accuracy of the national waiting list data is compromised, making it difficult for managers to truly understand and provide assurance to Government that the issue is understood, and actions are in place to recover the backlog of elective care.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to play and active role within the Trust's Delivery Team to implement the Care Coordination Solution (CCS) that will give Business Intelligence for RTT/Non RTT, PTL Management and Validation. The role of Delivery Manager will be critical in overseeing the implementation of the CCS within the Trust. Being part of this fast paced programme, you will be working alongside several senior Trust stakeholders and an Operational Delivery Team who work collectively within this national programme
