Are you looking foranew challenge? Previous experience of Pelvic Health is preferable but we can also provide training if you are new to this specialty. We are looking for candidates with a passion to learn and develop their skills. This is an exciting opportunity to either start, or continue to develop your expertisein this area.
The role is based largely in outpatients, managing a range of conditions including musculoskeletal ante and post natal conditions, gynaecology and continence (both male and female). Referrals are received from GPs, Urology, Colorectal, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultants and midwives. The team provides a service to the maternity ward and runs Childbirth preparation classes, a pelvic floor group and a pregnancy pain class.
You will be supported by the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Team Leader, other band 6 Physiotherapists and a Technical Instructor.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking someone to work 37.5 hours a week on fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The post holder will be required to work some Saturdays to cover a childbirth preparation class.
