Job summary
The Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an enthusiastic, band 6 Midwife to join our Outstanding CQC Maternity Service. The Daisies Continuity Team provides an enhanced level of continuity of carer to women in a small area of Guildford.
This position is open to midwives who are interested in working in a small team that is passionate about building trusting relationships with the women they care for and providing care across the complete maternity pathway. The team provide community care at home and intrapartum care in the hospital to ensure each woman has a personalised approach to care.
Each midwife in the team has a caseload of approximately 36 women/year. Fulltime midwives in the team are rostered to work 3 to 4 shifts per week and do not provide an on call service outside of these shifts.
You must hold NMC midwifery registration. You will be expected to be able to show evidence of current practice/updating.

Main duties of the job
To work as part of the Multi-professional team providing a high standard of antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal midwifery care to women and their families within the integrated maternity service. To work as part of a continuity of carer team or rotate within all clinical areas within maternity services to support professional development and maintain safe standards of midwifery care in line with service provision.
