Job summary

The Fountain Centre is looking to recruit a digital marketing assistant to work at the Fountain Centre, St Luke's Cancer Centre, Guildford.

The Fountain Centre is an independent charity supporting local people affected by a diagnosis of cancer. As part of our ambitious income generation and communication strategy we are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled person with experience and knowledge of creating exciting and engaging media content, maintaining websites and profile raising. The role will support the team engage with local supporters, communities and businesses to ensure we meet our annual income targets.

Main duties of the job

The Digital Marketing assistant will be accountable to the Head of Income Generation, and work alongside and be supported by the community engagement and administrator.

There will be some out of hour's work to support Fountain Centre events and to monitor supporter's engagement. The post holder is required to be confident communicator and be able to work flexibly across the working week to meet the needs of the service. Excellent IT skills are required with a good understanding of working for a charity.
