Strategic Estates Programme Lead

Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experiencedStrategic Estates Programme Leadto support the delivery of theDerbyshire NHS Infrastructure Strategy. This role will be pivotal in driving estates transformation across the Derbyshire system, ensuring our estate is fit for the future and aligned with strategic priorities.

The postholder will be employed byDerbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trustbut will work collaboratively across all system partners, including theJoined Up Care Derbyshire Provider Collaborative, with a high level of autonomy and influence.

Main duties of the job

  • Lead the delivery of theEstates Work Programmeacross Derbyshire, supporting key strategic priorities:
    • Estate utilisation- maximising use of existing estate assets.
    • Estate rationalisation- identifying opportunities for consolidation and cost-efficiency.
    • Improving data quality - to help inform strategic decisions around priorities
    • Supporting the left shift- enabling care closer to home through estate planning.
  • Collaborate with NHS organisations and wider public sector partners to foster a culture of partnership and shared ambition.
  • Ensure robust reporting and benefit realisation mechanisms are in place.
  • Support clinically-led medium-term estate planning and service transformation.
  • Represent the programme at system groups including theStrategic Estates GroupandLocal Estates workstreams.
