Job summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Lead Nurse.

Bluebell is a 12-bedded, purpose-built assessment and treatment unit for older people (over 65) experiencing a variety of acute mental health difficulties.

Bluebell is a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team. We put the patients first and deliver a high standard of care. Offering en-suite rooms for promotion of dignity, safety and therapeutic spaces.

Bluebell encourages therapeutic interventions and delivers care to national recommendations.

Main duties of the job

You will:

  • Provide strong clinical leadership, ensuring evidence-based practice is delivered to improve the quality of and shape responsive services.
  • Monitoring and ensure maintenance of standards of care that support safe high quality practice throughout the twenty-four hour period.
  • Supporting junior colleagues within the multi-disciplinary process.
  • Supervising and promoting staff development.Be part of the Bleep Holder rota.
  • Always act in a way which reflects both the word and spirit of the Trust's values
