Clinical Lead - Forensic Community Mental Health Team

Job summary

An exciting new opportunity for a Clinical Lead has arisen in the Forensic Community Mental Health Team.

The team delivers intensive, comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatments and care for patients who demonstrate disturbed behaviour in the context of a serious mental disorder and must be in a secure setting.

A short presentation will be required - further details will be provided upon invitation to interview.

Main duties of the job

Within your role you will:

  • Provide strong clinical leadership, ensuring evidence-based practice is delivered and to improve the quality of care
  • Be responsible for ensuring the monitoring and maintenance of standards of care that support safe high-quality practice.
  • Provide advice, support and healthy challenge within the Multi-Disciplinary Team
  • Supervise and promote staff development
  • Ensure a nurturing learning environment focusing on safe clinical practice and staff wellbeing.
  • Demonstrate robust knowledge of clinical and environmental risk assessment and risk management in a forensic mental health setting.
  • Use your exceptional skills in relevant clinical documentation, including HCR20's, Ministry of Justice reports and care planning; supporting staff to meet agreed standards.
