Job summary

Due to developments within the CAMHS Eating Disorder Service we now have a substantive vacancy for a registered professional.

We welcome applications from professionals with experience of working with families, risk and mental health to offer a service within the CAMHS Eating Disorder Team.

The team works across the City and South Derbyshire within clinic, home and paediatric settings to deliver evidence based care and therapeutic interventions to young people experiencing a primary eating disorder and supporting family members /carers.

Care coordination of a defined caseload is a key component of the role and the post holder will require a high level of communication and interpersonal skills to build engagement with young people and families with the ability to provide all aspects of case management.

Main duties of the job

A vacancy has arisen for a 37.5 hour lead practitioner within the CAMHS Eating Disorder Team which provides a service to South Derbyshire and Derby City.

If you have experience or would like to develop your expertise and skills within this clinical area we would welcome your application. The service is multi professional specialising in eating disorder for children young people up to 18 years.

You will need to be committed to participation in all aspects of care, including referral management, team assessment, care coordination, and physical health monitoring. The service is delivered utilising a family based systemic model within a team approach.

The team offers a service 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and for travel within our referral area and to inpatient units to meet the needs of our service users.
