Job summary

Come and join our Derby Wellbeing teams, we are looking for a full time Nurse who want to make a difference!!

Our service is an evolving andexciting mental health offer for the people of Derby City in line with the Community Mental Health Framework.

You'll be working alongside experienced Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, in a multi-agency team, who offer longer term interventions for people with serious and / or complex mental health issues.

You bring: a caring attitude, compassion, innovation, fun, a desire to help people be their best selves, invaluable nursing skills and a strong sense to collaborate with others.

You must hold a Mental Health professional qualification, have experience as a qualified practitioner and have applied knowledge & training in strategies to support individuals to manage their difficulties.

We would welcome informal visits with prior arrangement to meet our team.

Main duties of the job

Provide a caring and compassionate service with clear boundaries and expectations

Hold a case load of people with deteriorating/fluctuating mental health problems and work alongside them to help achieve their goals over a medium to longer term time frame.

Discuss initial enquires with anyone in the system

Consider capacity and choice in every contact

Attend professional meetings

Work alongside colleagues as a "duty" member of staff

Demonstrate post registration experience with a thirst for something different

Be a role model, offering mentoring and supervision to other staff and students.

You will need to have the ability to transport yourself and service users across a wide geographical area without compromising service needs.
