A new opportunity has arisen to work within the dynamic and passionate Paediatric Physiotherapy team, working with an established group of operational and clinical leaders in the Children's Complex Health service line.

This is an exciting time for the team as they embrace new ways of working and a fantastic opportunity to support and develop physiotherapy services for Children and their families.

The post holder will work cohesively as part of a team and will also be part of a peer group of service leads from which to gain support and advice.

The post holder will provide clinical leadership within the team working alongside the operational lead for the team. The post holder will be expected to work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary framework, providing training and staff development, specialist assessment, clinical support and time limited intervention to service users.

Main duties of the job

The applicant must hold a current professional HCPC registration in Physiotherapy, have post registration community experience, and experience of working with children and their families.

To act as a role model to provide high standards of professionalism representing both the Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in the exercise of their duties.

The post holder will also be responsible for working with clinical leaders to ensure the development of new and innovative clinical practices responding to emerging knowledge and techniques and working with other partner agencies to make improvements the service, in collaboration with the wider community.

Provide support and advice in the clinical area to optimise quality improvement opportunities. This may involve working alongside individual practitioners in the clinical area, in particular where practitioners are experiencing difficulties or are unable to achieve the required outcomes, also to hold a small clinical caseload.
