Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to help shape the future data provision within Derbyshire Healthcare NHS FT.

We are looking for a hybrid-working Systems Analyst in a team responsible for high quality data and integration services to both internal and external customers.

As a member of the Data Warehouse, Integration, Analytics and Applications team, you will have to work in and co-ordinate a team of data manipulation specialists and web developers.

The ideal candidate would have a can-do attitude and has attention to detail, with a background in programming.

We have one two-year fixed-term, full-time post available (37.5 hours per week)

Main duties of the job

As a key member of the team, you will be required to collaborate in high profile projects, such as OnEPR; One team, One approach, One Derbyshire, the role out of TPP SystmOne across DHCFT mental health services.

The successful candidate will need to have technical skills and will become a skilled SQL specialist in DHCFT.

They will need to be capable of understanding technical systems as well as working in a team to deliver an excellent service.

You will also contribute to collaborative initiatives across the department and wider organisation.

Essential

  • Graduate or equivalent degree level qualifications or relevant technical/ professional qualifications or equivalent level of experience

Desirable

  • European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or other IM&T Qualifications

Previous Experience

  • Evidence of working in a relevant IM&T environment
  • Evidence of developing and using spreadsheets, databases and information systems to retrieve and analyse data
  • Evidence of using analytical skills to investigate and identify system and data issues
  • Evidence of automating tasks including validation rules to promote efficient and quality assured work practices
  • Problem solving skills developed through practical application

Desirable

  • Evidence of working within a Health or Social Care setting, particularly mental health
