We are able to offer the opportunity of a permanent position within our community paediatric occupational therapy team. We are a close and friendly team and we support each other with supervision training and mentoring on a regular basis.

Main duties of the job
As a Clinical Lead you are professionally and legally accountable under the HCPC code of conduct [or equivalent body] to provide clinical leadership to the Paediatric Occupational Therapy team within an area defined by GP population. You will work alongside the Service Operational lead with the provision and development of effective services to meet legislative, policy and contractual requirements within the context of an integrated, service.
The post holder will provide clinical leadership within the team and management support.
The post holder will be expected to work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary framework, providing training and staff development, specialist assessment, clinical support and time limited intervention to service users.
The post holder will also be responsible for working with clinical leaders to ensure the development of new and innovative clinical practices responding to emerging knowledge and techniques and working with other partner agencies to make improvements the service, in collaboration with the wider community.
