Senior Support worker- Pharmacy Aseptic unit

Job summary
The Technical Services department within Pharmacy is looking for an enthusiastic individual to become an integral part of our Aseptic Service team. You will provide support to the Pharmacy Aseptic Unit by undertaking the manufacture and dispensing of ready to use, patient specific, aseptically prepared injections including cancer chemotherapy. You will be required to complete documentation, perform complex calculations and undertake intricate manipulations while working within isolators based in our clean room facilities
Main duties of the job
Support workers in the Pharmacy Aseptic Unit work in clean rooms in isolators preparing chemotherapy injections for patients with cancer.
We require a person with a positive and responsible attitude to work, good communication skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines. You should be an enthusiastic team member but be able to work on your own initiative. Previous Pharmacy or manufacturing experience would be an advantage but is not essential as comprehensive training and support will be given.
