Successful applicants will join an established paediatric nursing team in the Emergency Department, as they move forward to provide a 24-hour paediatric nursing service. This is a fully rotational post, and will be a shift pattern of days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Main duties of the job

Successful applicants will join an established paediatric nursing team in the Emergency Department, as they move forward to provide a 24-hour paediatric nursing service. This is a rotational post, and will be a shift pattern of days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Blackpool has an extremely busy Emergency Department, treating patients who present with a variety of health care needs. The learning and development opportunities are vast. We consider the Department to be an innovative and creative environment for those nurses pursuing a career in Emergency nursing.

You must, o Be a Registered Paediatric Nurse, or a Student Nurse with an interest in this area.
